Le Petit Chef in Guelph is a hidden gem located on 107 Wyndham St N. As a food reviewer for Menu World, I had the pleasure of dining at this quaint establishment and was thoroughly impressed. The menu at Le Petit Chef features an array of exquisite dishes that are carefully curated to tantalize your taste buds.
One of the standout dishes that I had the pleasure of trying was the Caprese Salad di Bufala. This dish consisted of vine-ripened tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella cheese, mixed baby greens, radish, sweet basil, and a cherry tomato shallot vinaigrette. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, and the presentation was impeccable.
Another highlight of my dining experience at Le Petit Chef was the Seafood Bisque. This decadent soup featured East Coast lobster, shrimp, octopus, and a chive brandy cream. The flavors were rich and comforting, making it the perfect choice for a cozy evening out.

“ I wasn’t sure what to expect food-wise for Le Petit Chef which I’ve seen floating around for a while now. I can’t speak for their other locations but I was VERY impressed by the Guelph location for what it was, which opened earlier this year. Going to a dinner experience that incorporates the mini worlds that I love was very enjoyable. The chicken and steak were not dry and worked very well with their accompaniments. The creme brulee had just the right amount of lavender (I find some places overdo it) and a satisfying crack to open up the soft custard beneath. There was a little video with the Petit Chef preparing the food and getting caught up in different shenanigans before each plate is served right afterwards. ”
“ Amazing experience! Both extremely entertaining and amazing food. The service was top notch! It was so interesting to be in a dining room with every table getting their meals at the same time, making the atmosphere feel so light and friendly, like we were all enjoying a meal together. The projection of the chef himself was perfect, funny and cute, an amazing concept from the creators. I would highly recommend this place for a special event, and prepare before hand, there is a lot of food so it is quite filling!! Thank you to the waitress who treated us with such kindness and brought out our dessert with a candle for our anniversary! ”

Would be nice to have higher resolution projection but I'm hyper aware of those things. I would entertain the idea to go again when there's a new menu and if the story lines had more variety. Great staff and service! ”

It was our anniversary and they even gave us some complimentary champagne which was such a sweet surprise! I love the unique dinner and a show experience and would love to try it again one day! It's definitely a special occasion place but worth the visit. I would however recommend anyone going to be early as it took us over 15 minutes to find parking! ”

The food was delicious and I don't know what it was but having every table served at the same time made the experience feel special from a normal dinner meal. “ My girlfriend and I had an incredible evening at Le Petit Chef in Guelph. We were greeted and made to feel welcome right away with excellent service from the bartender May. She was very friendly and sweet and provided us some great cocktails before service. Leanne was also very friendly and professional. We were the only guests during our time slot for dinner. They could have easily canceled our service and asked us to reschedule but instead, they put on a show for us like it was a full house. The show was excellent and entertaining. The food was incredible. Everything was cooked to perfection and had amazing flavors. ”
